Sunday, November 9, 2025

WHEN: 5:00pm – 8:00pm

WHERE: Husky Union Building (HUB) Ballroom, University of Washington, Seattle

In a moment marked by political repression and draconian policies, at least one force is fighting back and moving forward: the labor movement.

At the University of Washington, the Harry Bridges Center for Labor Studies educates a growing number of young people about their power as workers through classes and internships. The Center puts university research to work for the labor movement, highlighting critical issues that working people face to inform policymakers and strategic campaigns.

Join us on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the Labor Studies Awards Celebration as we honor student accomplishments, recognize leaders and organizers in our community, and raise money to support the Bridges Center programs. Dinner and drinks are provided!

fundraising thermometer - raised $13,100 - goal $40,000
The labor movement is growing, but not without your support. Less than 2% of the Center's budget is funded directly by the University of Washington. The Bridges Center is made possible through public funding and grassroots donations from people like you. We need your help!

Tickets are free, but donations are needed. Donations help cover the costs of the banquet and make the Center's education and research programs possible. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
