Stephanie Hung is a federal worker and proud union member of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) and the Federal Unionists Network (FUN). Her work helps keep our drinking water safe, and she witnesses firsthand how essential public services are to communities. She and other federal workers across Washington and the country are organizing within and across their unions to build a fighting labor movement that defends federal jobs and serves the public good.

Keynote Address – Zenia Javalera

Zenia Javalera is the president of SEIU6. A longtime organizer, Zenia rose to leadership by organizing alongside janitors who fight for fair workloads and an end to worker exploitation. A champion of racial justice and language justice, Zenia leads SEIU6 by centering the diverse experiences of over 10,000 essential workers who together speak over 30 languages. As a daughter of immigrant workers from Mexico, Zenia has lived the challenges faced by immigrant families, and fights for every worker to be treated with dignity and respect.
