Dr. Zaher Kmail is an Assistant Professor of Statistics in the School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences at the UW Tacoma campus. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2019). Dr. Kmail has consulted in various fields from agronomy to economics to sociology to education.
Dr. Kmail’s general areas of research are in theoretical and applied statistics. More specifically, his specialization is in the design and analysis of experiments, with particular interests in causal structure modeling, optimal design, and multivariate analysis. He is also interested in optimal design applications.
