A highly accomplished alum of the Labor Studies program at the University of Washington, Domingo has a PhD in Education from the University of California Berkley and over a decade of experience working in labor, community organizing, and the hospital and health care industry. Since 2010, Domingo has worked at SEIU Healthcare 1199NW - the largest, most united union of healthcare workers in the nation - first as an organizer, and since 2014, as Education Director. As a union SEIU is committed to economic, racial, immigrant and health justice. Hailing from a family of civil rights and labor activists, Domingo authored her PhD dissertation on the history of Filipino activism in the Seattle area.
