Hoffman is an Associate Professor at the University of Washington Seattle. She earned her B.S. in Physical Education at Washington State University (1989), and a Ph.D. in Education Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Washington Seattle (2006). Her research agenda in the Center for Leadership in Athletics highlights the factors that influence participation in leadership of intercollegiate athletics, the ways in which decision-making is informed by data, and how equity policies shape intercollegiate athletics in significant ways.
