Two research job classes at UW—Coordinators and Consultants—filed with the Washington Public Employees Relations Commission to form their union. They are filing to join the existing Research Scientist bargaining unit with UAW 4121, representing hundreds of workers at the University of Washington. Today, they demonstrated their unity by marching to the President's office in Gerberding Hall, where they delivered the petition confirming their filing.
