The Bridges Center’s Labor Studies Student Association (LSSA) has gotten off to an active start in 2018. The interdepartmental graduate student organization meets regularly to brainstorm ideas for ongoing activism and research, hosts writing groups to produce accessible research on labor-related topics relevant to the Seattle and UW communities, and has established a regular working group for graduate students working on ongoing research projects. LSSA members have also made time for fun, with events like roller skating and hiking in Discovery Park!
