Her first book, Daily Labors. Marketing Identity and Bodies on a New York City Street Corner(Temple University Press, 2019) is an ethnographic community study that reveals how ideologies about race, gender, nation, and legal status operate on the corner shaping the vulnerabilities and sense of community workers experience in this labor market.
