How does fast fashion brand transparency regarding labor practices affect consumer purchasing decisions? This study explores which factors – including cost, status, trends, and knowledge of labor practices–are most influential in a person's choice to purchase from a specific brand.
To answer this question, the study includes a survey of UW students, faculty, staff, and other members of the King County community, asking them what motivates them to purchase from specific brands identified as transparent with good practices, transparent with poor practices, or not transparent at all.
