Dr. M. Aziz, (they/them), Assistant Professor of African American Studies and Bridges Center Faculty Associate, has received the Distinguished Teaching Award in the 54th annual University of Washington Awards of Excellence! The awards honor outstanding alumni, faculty, staff, students, and retirees who contribute to the richness and diversity of our University community.
They will be honored at a ceremony in Meany Hall at 3:30 p.m. on June 6. All are welcome to attend!
